Talk is cheap when it's in the form of reviews and ratings. All existing search platforms are outdated or addicted to the low-quality engagement or information vomit, but it's not helping anyone but themselves while creating hostility with venues.
Solution
Using photo and video-rich content backed by sophisticated algorithms and robust data, we can SHOW rather than tell with our visual search. No more relying on user generated content, which was never that reliable to begin with.
Problem - Dining & Restaurant Content Creators Have No Home
The truth is that editorial content made by dedicated creators is in demand and effective to drive patronage, but these creators have no culinary or hospitality themed home that other industries do to sponsor their content with.
Solution
Selected best-of-the-best "Tastemakers" as we call them, will be able to monetize content within our platform, showcasing their high end content and earning commissions by doing so. This helps both them, venues, and FYE.

Nutrition and Diet information is usually banished to a dusty PDF hidden on a website, integrated poorly on a text menu, or in a listicle on some blog from 2009. Finding responsive information like this is time consuming and painful, leading to frustration and wasted time.

Milestones
Feast Your Eyes was officially founded in Austin, Texas in July of 2020. The concept began forming in 2019 before the world shut down, and it was unclear how long it would be for things to open again, and what it would be like. 2020 was definitely not the most ideal year to start a tech company in the hospitality sector.
We were optimistic, and while it did take longer than anyone could have thought for mainstream normalcy, we finally had an alpha after doing market research, conducting interviews, and watching how things shook out while trying to keep afloat ourselves.
Much changed for restaurants and hospitality, more than most industries, some for the good. What has emerged is a need for better services at a better price, for both diners and venues.
