Born out of frustration and the desire for better, Feast Your Eyes is the result of a shared drive to radically improve the way food enthusiasts engage with the ever-vibrant world of dining.

We found ourselves disgruntled by a myriad of issues common to the conventional dining search. The inability to find comprehensive details about specific dishes; restaurants slipping under the radar in searches; or the struggle to locate ""complex"" combinations like "wine list + covered patio" rendered our endeavors cumbersome (yes, fast food restaurants, airport restaurants, and places with no wine or patios show up regularly). The scattered, piecemeal nature of information - strewn across multiple websites and apps - added to the annoyance and seemed redundant in this age of seamless digital integrations. We were disheartened by the prevalent use of review platforms that more often seem like forums for complaints and deceptive marketing practices. The overflow of unappetizing and irrelevant photos became too overwhelming, tarnishing our natural enthusiasm for culinary discovery. It was within this cluttered, often deceptive, and user-unfriendly environment that our determination solidified.

We realized there had to be a better way for diners deserved a novel approach to discovering dining destinations. Fueled with this conviction, we decided to build Feast Your Eyes. We chose the name partly because we believe clear and representative photos do the most to help a diner decide if a dish, vibe, or offering is what they are looking for, and partly because the expression is one that evokes a sense of richness, grandness, and delight.
